Mark Warncke – the pioneer behind the MallMart concept – formulated a business model that has always had the end consumer in mind. Most retail environments are subject to high rentals and distributions which continually add extra costs to the final buyer.
Teaming up with his son, Chris Warncke, the two business owners are continually searching for those exciting little products that provide a novel use to consumers. Naturally, as South Africans they have focused on products that seek to satisfy those niche markets that normally wouldn’t be catered for due to demand, logistical or financial reasons. Products such as alcohol testers to limit drunk driving, luggage protection to prevent theft and damage during travel, child location devices and key trackers are some of the inaugural products being launched, with plenty more to come.
